What is Yoga Therapy?
In general, Yoga Therapy specifically applies yogic tools—postures/exercises, breathwork, meditation techniques, and more to address an individual’s needs—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Yoga Therapy can offer support for a range of concerns but can also support people who are dealing with stress and those who simply want to increase their overall well-being.
What is Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy?
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is one of many approaches to yoga therapy. It is a holistic healing art that combines age old yogic tools and mind-body psychology to deepen awareness and presence. The client and the therapist co-create an exploration of the relationship between a client’s body, mind, emotions and life. It is non-directive and non-prescriptive and supports the client to make empowered vs prescribed changes that can lead to deep healing and transformation.

A Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy session is engaging in an awareness of your breath and your body to create an exploration of yourself and a building of a relationship with yourself. What you do with that knowledge and relationship is limitless.
